Take-Two 'very excited' for Wii U

No confirmed support yet, but another successful platform is good news, says GTA house

Rockstar parent company and home of Grand Theft Auto, Take Two Interactive, has said it's 'looking at' Nintendo's new Wii U console and is excited at the prospect of another successful HD console in the market.

When asked if the firm was interested in Wii U, executive VP CEO Karl Slatoff replied: "Yeah. We haven't announced any specific support for Wii U at this point, but anytime you've got a new platform that could garner a significant audience, then we would be interested."

Slatoff refrained from confirming Take-Two's intention to support the console, but did say encouragingly: "It is an HD platform that has the processing power to develop a compelling triple experience. If it takes hold of the market, that is good for us. So from that perspective, we are very excited about that.

"Again we haven't announced any support for it but obviously we have a great relationship with Nintendo, and we will be looking at the Wii U," he told VentureBeat.

Take-Two shares fell last week Tuesday following disappointing review scores for Duke Nukem Forever and lower than expected first month sales of LA Noire. The publisher's shares closed down by more than four percent on Tuesday, the day the game hit US retail.

User guide to Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 PS3 game

Here we continue to introduce the classic PS3 games series which are available within PS3 HDD  provided by fyygame.com;This time what we want to talk about is Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 PS3 game

PS3 HDD

International superstar Tiger Woods tees off for his third golf outing on PlayStation 3 with several new features. While the core play mechanics are identical to last year's game, which continued the analog-based swing meter first introduced in 1998, more options are now available to customize the experience. The biggest change is the inclusion of a personal golf coach to help improve your long and short game. Tiger's coach Hank Haney will serve as your mentor, assessing your swing and offering tips on equipment to maximize your abilities.

Clubs can now be tuned to take advantage of a course's width, doglegs, and length. You can freely adjust power (at the expense of accuracy), accuracy (at the expense of power), or "workability" to improve draw and fade. Five new courses include Gary Player Country Club, Sheshan Golf & Country Club, Wolf Creek Golf Club, Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge, and Wentworth Golf Club. A dynamic attribute system automatically adjusts skill ratings based on how well you play on each course. If ratings fall too far below acceptable levels, call on Hank Haney to provide specific drills so you remain competitive.

The game play is fairly unchanged from the previous year; your on-course performance once again increases or reduces your abilities. This year, the controls are a little more forgiving and a live meter in the lower part of the screen gives you a representation of your swing so you know exactly what you're doing right or wrong (NOTE TO EA SKATE 2 DEVELOPMENT TEAM: Please include this feature!).

you may need to choose a high quality Silver PS3 dualshock controller to increase your game experience in this Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 PS3 game

The online features (which felt a little hackneyed and buggy) are fantastically integrated into this year's game play. As you play along a course, if a player in the world has recorded a record shot on this course, you are given the opportunity to challenge it. Beating someone's shot doesn't automatically replace the challenge, but you get points for doing so and EA servers are constantly keeping track of point totals and rankings throughout the day. So any time throughout the day, you can see exactly who is beating the most records (or who has uploaded the most unbeatable shots of the day).

This Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 PS3 game a very good game and suggest you to have a try.

the active swing meter and club adjustments make for a great addition to help you improve your game. more courses, more stuff to buy, and more money to make. the addition of Gamernet challenges adds a whole new spin on the game, where you can gain Gamernet points (i dont know yet what for, lol). you can even customize your own challenges for others to attempt. character creation is more detailed then previous titles and, even though i havent tried it yet, i hear the gameface is a pretty good addition. HD graphics are another welcomed addition, yet i have seen a few flaws. somehow, i have a glove that has switched to my right hand and my left hand had completely disappeared. i was actually playing without a left hand. other then that and a couple of slight freezing and delay issues, the game feels pretty solid. this Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 PS3 game is definitely worth the buy for anyone who is a fan of Tiger.

User guide to Disgaea 3 PS3 game

Here we continue to introduce the classic PS3 games series which are available within PS3 games hard drive  provided by fyygame.com;This time what we want to talk about is Disgaea 3 PS3 game

PS3 games hard drive

The Disgaea series has long been a bastion of excellence in the realm of strategy role-playing games, and though Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice is no exception, it's beginning to show its age. Despite a great deal of minor gameplay tweaks, the series as a whole seems adamant in staying the exact same as it always has, which is immediately evident by its PlayStation 2-era (or worse) sprite graphics. That said, Disgaea 3 delivers what is undoubtedly the best combination of zany story and strategic gameplay seen yet in the series, and it's a fun and entertaining game that will keep fans hooked for dozens of hours.
A number of gameplay mechanics have been added or tweaked to reflect the school setting in Disgaea 3. The Dark Assembly, which served as something of a Senate and allowed players to create characters and submit requests, has been replaced by the "Classroom System" that functions like a student council. New characters are treated as transfer students, deleted characters are considered expulsions, and players will be able to switch seats in class to combine attributes with other characters using the new skill merging feature. The battle systems have evolved as well, with new ways to use the character-stacking Lift and Throw system, new systems for monster units, and new dimensions added to the Item World. The developers have also added a puzzle element to the gameplay by including Geo Blocks, which are 3D forms of the Geo Symbols introduced in previous Disgaea games. Absence of Justice also continues the strategic depth the series has been known for, allowing characters to level up almost endlessly, and featuring four separate story lines, more than 50 jobs, and approximately 300 characters.

if you've played the first two, then you'll enjoy this game very much. You'll be thrown into a world of demons and penguins (well, they're prinnies, but you'll see if you play the game) without much of explanation of what's going on. You do get a nice tut once you get on the battle map for newcomers.
The battle system is that of it's older versions; tile based movements, number crunching stats and great strategy. every character, weather the character is a human using an axe, a monster with a gun for an arm, or a story based character using a bow, you'll feel like you've got literally millions of ways to build your army. Humans get one of the 7 weapons: Swords, spears, axes, guns, bows, fists and staves, while monsters get monster weapons (those are broken into magic style and melee style). Every kill you get on the battle field results in two ways: 1st You gain EXP, but that was a given. 2nd you gain mana which is kind of like power in this game. you use it to make more characters, suggest new bills (like better equipment to buy or stronger enemies) that can benefit your team in a major way.
The storyline is solid, but personally, if you haven't played the games yet, try to get a hold of the first one because it has the funniest storyline, and a lot of unexpected twists. Don't shy away from this game though, because it's great. The random generated dungeons are back! Yay item world! That place is where you get to power up your items from good to great, great to awesome and awesome to I win.

you may need to choose a high quality  Blue PS3 dualshock controller to increase your game experience in this Disgaea 3 PS3 game

New stuff: Geo BLOCKS, the same as geo symbols, but you can stand on them for they're effects if they are off a colored space. Maps sometimes will be littered with colors and the geo blocks will fill that color with things like heal 20%, att +50%, or def -50%. So they are a double edged sword. Magichange: A monster becomes a weapon for a few turns. The monster's abilities dictate how strong the weapon is.

User guide to Vampire Rain: Altered Species PS3 game

Here we continue to introduce the classic PS3 games series which are available within Customize 500G Portable HDD  provided by fyygame.com;This time what we want to talk about is Vampire Rain: Altered Species PS3 game

Customize 500G Portable HDD

A sect of powerful vampires called Nightwalkers is wreaking havoc throughout a rain-soaked, modern-day U.S. city, and it's up to you to put an end to their reign of terror. Vampire Rain: Altered Species has players in control of a black ops soldier named John Lloyd, who is equipped with the latest in vampire-hunting technology, from "necrovision" goggles to ultraviolet knives. The enemies are quick, agile, and possess superhuman strength, but players can use stealth and the environment to set up strategic ambushes. Ranged weapons include a pistol, machine gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, and a shotgun, and players can climb ladders, grab onto ledges, or crouch behind objects to stalk their prey while avoiding exposure.

Released more than a year after the original Xbox 360 version of the game, Vampire Rain: Altered Species comes to the PS3 with 5.1 channel audio support, extra bonus levels, new character animations and interactions, and a "highly robust" multiplayer mode.

you may need to choose a high quality Red PS3 dualshock controller to increase your game experience in this Vampire Rain: Altered Species PS3 game

This Vampire Rain: Altered Species PS3 game was a really good game worth playing. Can find any glitches or just annoying game play mechanics that made the game broken. The character animation did not have, like most mainstream titles have, annoying animation that hinders your game play experience. This game is a pure stealth game for about a good portion of the game. You get weapons in which you really devastate vampires and made it feel good killing them. Many people hate the difficulty but i felt the realism refreshing. Its not really scary and fortunately it only had like on "surprise this should scare you" moment. The game was pretty simple for the most part and if you have any intelligence you will find it pretty easy to avoid enemies. The voice acting is good except for the vampires. The audio is good, except for the vampires. Except for the vampires, overall the game was done well. The quality of the vampires is that of probably ps1 standards and I'm not joking. Its a good splinter cell/ metal gear solid clone. You shouldn't expect revolutionary things with this game but I still really enjoyed playing it. My real rating for this game would really probably be a 8 out of 10. I give it a 10 out of 10 just so i can maybe boost the overall ratings because a 3 out of 10 is a little too low for this. If your a real gamer, that enjoys playing games and like somewhat good story line then try this game.

Wii U Controller Limitations to Save on Costs, Says Nintendo

The Wii U could support more than one touch screen controller, says Nintendo, but it would make the console much more expensive.

Nintendo has revealed that its decision to support only Wii U controller per console is motivated by cost. Not just cost to Nintendo though, cost to Nintendo's customers as well. The Wii U can support up to five inputs in total, but the other four are limited to Wii remotes.

The Wii U controller has all the buttons and analog sticks you'd expect to find on a console controller, but it also sports accelerometers and a large touch screen in the middle of it, which can display data streamed from the console. Speaking to Japanese business site Diamond Online, Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata said, while the Wii U could technically support multiple controllers, it would raise costs quite considerably.

Nintendo wasn't planning to ask its customers to buy more than one controller anyway, Iwata added.

Nintendo seems very keen to keep its profits as high as possible - or its losses as low as possible - on the Wii U. That isn't especially surprising; let's face it, not spending money you don't need to is good business sense, but this seems to be an odd corner to cut. It's like the PS3 only accepting a single Sixaxis controller, and forcing everyone else to play on PS2 pads. Obviously, the Wii U controller is a little more complicated - and thus expensive - than a PS3 controller, but it still seems rather strange all the same.

Multiple controller support isn't the only thing that Nintendo has decided to leave out of the Wii U either. The console also won't be able to play DVDs or Blu-Ray movies, because Nintendo didn't want to pay the costs for using the payback technology.

Nintendo's rationale was that people already have plenty of devices that play movies, so adding the feature to the Wii U was unnecessary. While that does make a certain amount of sense, it's odd to see Nintendo moving away from the concept of a console as more than just a game machine, while its rival are moving towards it.

Of course, this won't be the first time that Nintendo has made gajillions of dollars doing things that its rivals aren't - or vice versa - so perhaps it will all pay off.

the graphics of Vampire Rain: Altered Species PS3 game are decent, the gameplay is fairly easy to pick up, and the city layout is very intricate. i honestly thought the voice over acting was horrible. it does look very Splinter Cell, although anyone saying that you cannot kill the vampires by yourself hasnt played past the first 3 levels.there are alot better games out and coming out that i am far more interested in playing, but if stealth and tactics are something you want in a game, this Vampire Rain: Altered Species PS3 game is a good one.

The second Top Spin tennis game on Xbox 360 features a revamped graphics engine for more lifelike athletes. As in previous titles, players can choose from over 20 male and female tennis professionals, including such legends as Monica Seles, Bjorn Borg, and Boris Becker. Single and doubles matches are available in both the single-player career mode and in online competition. The latter supports custom tournaments and features a world ranking leaderboard that's reset every two weeks. Downloadable content is also available for new athletes, venues, and other enhancements.

In the career mode, players can create an athlete and build up his or her attributes in eight categories by competing in various events. Custom players are ranked 30th overall and will earn money to spend on new clothing, equipment, and accessories. The on-court action takes into account timing and proper footwork for returning shots. Serves are initiated by rocking the right analog stick back and then forward, similar to a golf swing. Real-time weather, cloth movement, and even perspiration are a few of the enhanced features designed for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

you may need to choose a high quality dualshock controller for PS3 / 2.4GHz RF Black DualShock 3 Wireless Controller to increase your game experience in this Top Spin 3 PS3 game

There are plenty of game modes, from the usual exhibition, career, tournament, and tutorial options, to online and offline multiplayer. If you're new to the Top Spin series, it's highly advisable to head to the school before taking to the courts, as the AI will punish novices even on medium difficulty settings. Doing so will give you a headstart on hitting those aces and returning every shot that comes your way. The game eschews traditional in-game meters and gauges, and instead requires you to use intuition, reflexes, and good, old-fashioned timing to nail your shots. The only onscreen displays are the score and a heart rate monitor, which gives you an idea of how your stamina is holding up. The higher your heart rate, the tougher it is to hit those hard-to-reach shots between the lines.

This Top Spin 3 PS3 game is good. period. if your looking for a fast pace button smashing arcade pong, go play virtual tennis, If your looking for real strategy, real tennis physics and engine look no further. this is a(sim)game for the tennis fan. The game has to grow you, after a while the controls handle like a breeze. For those who say the game is to hard, One, go to tennis school, Two swallow your pride and set the gaming level to (VERY EASY). I'm not a tennis fan and I enjoy this game. If your looking for more tennis then what this game has to offer, put down your controller and pick up a tennis racket.

For anyone who has played a tennis game before: throw away everything you learned from previous titles. The developers of Top Spin 3, in an effort to create more realism, created an entirely new method to control your player's swings.

It takes a while to get the hang of the controls, but luckily the game provides quite a few tutorials and lessons to help you get caught up.

Top Spin is a good game worthy of a rental and playing its career mode. The buttons are straightforward and once you get used to the timing, it becomes much easier and enjoyable to play the game.

User guide to Soul Calibur 4 PS3 game

Here we continue to introduce the classic PS3 games series which are available within PS3 games hard drive  provided by fyygame.com;This time what we want to talk about is Soul Calibur 4 PS3 game

PS3 games hard drive

Namco Bandai's weapons-based fighting series makes its high-def debut with Soul Calibur IV. New characters, environments, and play modes highlight this fourth installment of the fast-paced brawler. A special tournament with a mystical prize has drawn combatants from across the galaxy. Familiar fighters from previous Soul Calibur games are joined by several newcomers, including Hilde, Scheherazade, Angol Fear, and even Darth Vader from the Star Wars universe. Characters will challenge each other in an assortment of exotic locales while mastering new techniques in combat.

The one-on-one fighting system now features critical finishing moves, allowing players to initiate devastating, cinematic coups de grâce to weakened opponents. Characters also wear destructible armor, which can shatter during fights to expose vulnerable areas. Play modes include Story, Arcade, Training, and Active Matching Battle, an endurance-type match that challenges players to defeat as many enemies as possible. Custom fighters can be created and taken online for versus matches, and new equipment and other items can be earned by completing objectives in the mysterious "Tower of Lost Souls."

The graphics and controls are tight. Yes the story mode is not very story heavy but the level of character customization is great. Who wants to spend 30 hours unlocking all the characters anyways? Also if you crank the story mode up to hard, you will lose some fights (unless you are really nasty, I lose rounds all the time on hard)

The voices are a bit cheesy but I am told that's how the series has always been. People who complain about it being a button masher probably aren't very good--there is a lot of depth and timing necessary to beat experienced players and some of the more challenging game modes (tower).

you may need to choose a high quality PS3 dualshock controller / Silver DualShock 3 Wireless controller to increase your game experience in this Soul Calibur 4 PS3 game

The fighting itself has not rapidly change except for making it feel like your not going to lose to your friend who keeps using the same technique over and over again. A new part of the game play has been added though which is Soul Crush which is that if you block to many heavy attacks you will become vulnerable to your opponent allowing them to automatically kill you with a critical finish attack. In addition to the fighters, two new guest characters have arrived to join the hunt for the swords, Darth Vader and The Apprentice from the Star Wars Galaxy. For those who have played Soul Calibur 3, the character creation has been brought back with tons of new items to customize your character. In terms of facing another person, Soul Calibur now lets you play people over PlayStation Network in a ranked/player normal/special versus match. Special versus mean that you can use any ability you equipped to your character using character creation to use to your advantage against other players. in the museum you can see Chain of Souls which shows you how each character each other thinks about one another, Art Gallery for drawn pictures and character models, Event Gallery for the endings you unlocked and Battle Records for Honors you have unlocked. I would recommend this game to any Soul Caliber fans and for those looking for a excellent weapons fighting game. May the Dark side of the force be with you.

Soul Calibur 4 PS3 game is a great game -- especially if you've been following and enjoying the series for the past few years. There are over 30 characters to try out (granted, some of them are clones of each other), several gorgeous stages to battle in and enough special moves to keep you memorizing commands for months. As you might expect, Soulcalibur IV also has a healthy number of modes and unlockables that will keep you thoroughly engaged, along with a new online mode that lets you challenge other Soulcalibur fanatics through the magical power of the Internet.

If you love one on one fighting then this is the game. The graphics were excellent and I found nothing at all slightly wrong with them. The story mode is short but fun to play with every character as you try to beat it with every player. The Lost Tower of Souls is also one of my favorite modes to play as you battle through 20 Floors of fighting and then descend back down for new challenges. Customizing a character is also fun. -WARNING- If you've never played a one on one game like me and don't think you would like don't be surprised if you don't but if you really think you'd like it then you must play it. I give SoulCalibur 4 a 9 because it deserves it. Graphics are nice and smooth and game play keeps you interested. Go ahead and play Soul Calibur 4 PS3 game!

Once upon a time, survival horror games were defined not only by shambling corpses and creepy atmosphere, but also by protagonists that moved with all the grace and agility of a Sherman tank. Things have changed since then, but at first glance, Siren: Blood Curse, a horror game now available for download on the PlayStation Network, seems almost willfully behind the times, with play control that feels clunky and outdated. However, if you bear with the game and give it a chance to show off its strengths, you'll find that its episodic presentation, chilling ambiance, and terrific use of the Siren series' signature sightjacking system come together to create an enjoyably frightening experience.

Blood Curse eventually develops into a compelling, compulsively playable game. The biggest reason for this is the novel implementation of the sightjacking system. Sightjacking is the ability to see through the eyes of any other character, and it's vital for sneaking past patrolling shibito that are deadly when you're unarmed. Pressing L2 puts you in sightjack mode. While sightjacking, you can manually search for targets by using the right stick, which is similar to hunting for elusive radio stations on the dial, or quickly and easily cycle through possible targets using L1 and R1. The screen splits and displays the viewpoint of the current target on the right. You can assign up to three viewpoints to different buttons and lock on to one particular view, which is displayed on the right as you continue moving.

you may need to choose a high quality Yellow DualShock 3 Wireless controller to increase your game experience in this Dark Sector PS3 game

This Siren New Translation PS3 game has several features that you can enoy such as:

    * Makes great use of the series' sightjacking mechanic
    * Strong cast of playable characters
    * Episodic structure keeps things moving
    * Very creepy sound design.

Despite some shortcomings, Siren: Blood Curse is an enjoyably creepy adventure with some interesting gameplay mechanics and worth a try.

Well, after knowing the details of controller, you may need to choose a high quality White DualShock 3 Wireless controller to increase your game experience in this Dark Sector PS3 game

Beautiful graphics
Gameplay is outstanding at times
Best weapon I've used in a game

this Dark Sector PS3 game is actually one of the top ps3 games I've played. The story isn't great and it isn't groundbreaking in any particular category, but it is really fun and controlling the glaive never gets old. If you can forgive it's shortcoming's you will really enjoy this title. It's what you would get if Resident Evil and Gears of War had an evil baby together.

PS3 games hard drive

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is the story of two death-row inmates who end up in a partnership together after they are kidnapped by The Seven. The Seven is a highly organized terrorist group that recruit Kane and Lynch for a variety of missions around the globe. Not much is known about the duo before their time on the row, however, when the characters are close to death, image sequences that mimic their life flashing by clue gamers into where each man began, and how they ended up working for The Seven. Single players must work their way through each objective as Kane with Lynch following behind for back up. In cooperative, multiplayer action, both the avatars are used and each man has his own goals to accomplish in each level.

this Kane & Lynch: Dead Men PS3 game could have been SO much more; however I thoroughly enjoyed it. The graphics are not up to the same level as other next gen games, but this wasn't a big deal for me. The online ability is decent but finding matches can sometimes be a chore, but once in the games are above average. Not having voice communcation hurts this games rating. For the campaign, I thought the story was good and the characters very well written. I loved the fact these guys aren't in their 20s with perfect bodies and chisled chins. The cover system is not as smooth as say 'Uncharted' but is not that hard to get around. I have heard complaints about the aiming, but for me this adds to the realism of the game. People do not hit what they are aiming at 100% of the time and I really liked that.

you may need to choose a high quality Black DualShock 3 Wireless controller to increase your game experience in this Kane & Lynch: Dead Men PS3 game

The closer you got to an enemy the more accurate you became. Excluding the cover system, moving was smooth and easy. Aiming was even easier, the blind firing option was a nice touch. In most games control over your squad is not where it should be. This game is no different, everything is fine until you direct them to attack a postion; sometimes they fire from cover and at others they just run over and get lit up like a candle. But I haven't played a game that has figured that flaw out yet. Overall Kane & Lynch: Dead Men PS3 game is a decent and entertaining game So would suggest you to have a try.

There would be instances where you are pitted against alot of AI enemies . And the people you have on your side tend to do something stupid like run right out and get shot up instead of useing cover . You have to go and heal them before they die and boom you die . hence the but up top . But they still have there upsides .
Storyline was good untill a certian point. It skipped from one event to another and left the middle to be desired as now your baffled as how they got from point A to C . And you know nothing about B. Ending sucked all the hard work i put into it the teeth grinding and verbal assualts on my TV . There could of been a better ending .

Under the Hood of the Wii U

Just as the Wii remote shocked the gaming world in 2006 with motion-based controls, Nintendo’s recently unveiled Wii U has some polarizing technology that is sure to get as much admiration as admonishment from the gaming community. Whether you like the bold direction Nintendo’s taking or not, it’s hard to deny that Nintendo packed a lot of technology into the system. And based on what we’ve seen from Nintendo’s creations, from the Wii to DS to 3DS, it’s hard to deny that Wii U is in position to once again laugh itself all the way to the bank.

Unfortunately, Nintendo hasn’t revealed all of the Wii U specs yet. But, being that the console was revealed only hours ago, that’s no big surprise. Here’s a look at the technology behind Nintendo’s bold new console.

Nintendo Stock Price Falls on Heels of E3 2011 Wii U Reveal

Nintendo President and CEO Satoru Iwata is perplexed after seeing his company's stock price fall around 10% in the two days of trading following the E3 2011 presentation which revealed the new HD console, Wii U.

"Honestly speaking, the reaction to (Tuesday's) presentation and what I heard from people I met and the mood of the convention did not chime at all with what happened in the stock market," Iwata told Reuters. "It's very strange."

Furthermore, Iwata feels that Wii U is likely misunderstood by investors, and that it is important to experience the new tech to get it.

"In the end, it is easy to get the mistaken impression that this is just a game console with a tablet," Iwata said. "People who came to the presentation and tried it out have understood very well that it opens up a lot of new possibilities. But people who have not tried it will find it hard to believe that this controller will change things."

Judging by the strong reception by critics and, more importantly, top developers and publishers, Iwata may just be on to something.

Nintendo Registers 34 Web Domains for Wii U and Wii

According to French gaming site Gamekyo, Nintendo has gone ahead and started covering its proverbial bases for Wii U. The video game goliath has recently registered over 30 domains for possible future release.

While none of the following websites are guaranteed products for the future, they do serve as indicators for where Nintendo is going. Obviously, casual party games as well as fitness programs are still high on Nintendo's list of priorities, though we are excited about the prospect of Super Mario Bros. Mii / New Super Mario Bros. U (offered as a tech demo at E3 2011).

Friend codes and Facebook voice Chat on the Wii u

For the Wii u which was limited in the terms of games, will update function, it would support voice chat, although the course must be tough, the result will be exciting, more information you could find as following:

Nintendo always seems to be a few steps behind the rest in terms of online capabilities. The GameCube modem never really took off, the Wii's voice chat was very limited and the DS had some major hiccups that hindered its online functionality. Well, Nintendo is looking to change that with the Wii U by incorporating a new set of voice chat features and revamping the ever-so-loved 'Friend Code' system.

wii u-Game Accessories

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata recently stated that there will in fact be voice chat on the Wii U. If you remember, the Wii focused on games that supported voice chat, and it was a rather bothersome process to make it all work, so many people just forewent the whole feature altogether. Luckily, Nintendo is starting to realize just how important online gaming is in this industry and putting some focus on improving its own model.

The Wii U is going to feature voice chat that will work with major social networking sites such as Facebook. How the whole thing works has yet to be seen, but I can imagine it will revolve around some sort of friends list integration and status updates via voice.

Also, Iwata stated that the Wii U is going to feature a revamped version of the much loathed 'friend code' system. He claims that it is now much closer to how Xbox Live and the PSN work. This should hopefully improve everyone's online gaming experience.

User guide to Overlord: Raising Hell PS3 game

Here we continue to introduce the classic PS3 games series which are available within PS3 games hard drive  provided by fyygame.com;This time what we want to talk about is Overlord: Raising Hell PS3 game

PS3 games hard drive

Something like an unholy combination of Bullfrog's PC classic Dungeon Keeper and Miyamoto's innovative Pikmin, Overlord is a real-time strategy game that plays like a third-person action game. Players take control of the titular administrator of agony, who travels through the world of the living with a posse of imp-like minions. Different minions are best suited to different environments, such as water, fire, or poison, or to different actions, such as combat. To accomplish a task, such as moving an obstruction or attacking an enemy, the Overlord issues simple commands to his minions, who then swarm gleefully about until the job is accomplished (or they all are destroyed). Some puzzles and other in-game goals are labeled with colored number that indicate the type and quantity of minions required to accomplish them. The game's expansion material (available separately on Xbox 360 and PC through digital distribution) includes additional levels and challenge types. Online multiplayer games are supported, for both cooperative and competitive Overlords.

you take control of a minion horde in order to reclaim your place as supreme overlord. the concept is basically you going out and finding things to upgrade your castle. i never played the 360 version, so i dont know what the differences would be. the controls are fairly easy to catch on, only problem is the lack of camera control. the biggest downfall of this game is that there is nothing, outside of a small radar sized map, that lets you know where to go, and since its a fairly open mission type game, its rather hard to find certain people or places. its not that big of a deal since you can jump to any area from your castle. aside from the very few faults, there is definitely alot of fun to be had with this game. may be worth buying, but rent it first, since there are a few aggravating difficulties with controls and camera angles.

you may need to choose a high quality PS3 controller / Silver DualShock 3 Wireless controller to increase your game experience in this Overlord: Raising Hell PS3 game

From the voice-overs and missions to the spells and realms, this game is loads of fun. There are some frustrating moments with horde control, but once you get the hang of it you can play it for hours and not get bored. Be good or bad, strategize or just ransack the heck outta everything. There are plenty of options for playing how you wanna play, and the graphics are very clean and pretty. Challenging and funny, gross and beautiful, this Overlord: Raising Hell PS3 game really good.

The gameplay mechanics are very similar to that of Nintendo's Pikmin. Although you have a fair amount of control over the Overlord, your real power stems from the strength and abilities of your goblin-like Minions. These Minions come in one of four varieties, each with a set of special traits that give them an edge in certain situations. For example, Red Minions are born of fire and can lob fireballs at your enemies. They're also immune to flame and they possess the ability to absorb environmental fires in order to clear a path for you and the rest of your Minions. On the other hand, Blue Minions can revive those that fall in battle, making them crucial support units.

User guide to Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy PS3 game

Here we continue to introduce the classic PS3 games series which are available within hard drive for PS3  provided by fyygame.com;This time what we want to talk about is Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy PS3 game

hard drive for PS3

Amnesic assassin Jason Bourne stars in his first video game courtesy of Sierra Entertainment. Featuring a story developed in collaboration with screenwriter Tony Gilroy, The Bourne Conspiracy lets players delve deeper into the protagonist's past and the events surrounding his tormented training within a black ops division of the CIA. Players will guide Bourne through cinematic chase scenes and a seamless mix of hand-to-hand and ranged combat.

Throughout each exotic environment, players must quickly recognize potential threats, perform quick takedowns, and use their surroundings to either gain an advantage or escape from danger. Players will revisit key moments from the first film, including the dramatic Mini Cooper chase scene through narrow, crowded Parisian streets while being pursued by police. To match the films' fast-paced visual style, the developers crafted the combat system with the help of choreographer Jeff Imada, who worked on the fight sequences in the first three movies.

In The Bourne Conspiracy, as in the Bourne films, the hand-to-hand fights are fast, exciting, and brutal. The beauty of the combat here is that it doesn't demand any complex user input, so you'll be focused on the immediate action rather than trying to recall elaborate button combinations. There are two attacks available to you--light and heavy--and a block button. Attack combos consist of up to three consecutive light or heavy attacks, so there are only eight possible combinations. Throwing these combos down will make up the bulk of your fighting strategy, though you'll occasionally want to unleash a charged attack because the impact is just so satisfying. Getting the controls down is easy, but timing them is a bit trickier. Your opponents attack as vigorously as you do, so it's key that you focus on good fight flow. Interrupting your opponent's assault by blocking and then beating out a smooth cadence of combos on his head and torso is the quickest way to secure your victory.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 "needs power"

Although Good&Evil has built a loyal fanbase, there being a more delightful 2D Rayman: Origins platformer,is due out on PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 later this year, let’s keep eyes on it.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 might be too ambitious for the current generation of consoles to handle, creator Michel Ancel has revealed.

Talking with Eurogamer at E3 last week, Ancel confirmed reports that Ubisoft is now looking beyond the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for the long-in-development sequel to his acclaimed 2003 adventure.

Ancel wouldn't say for certain that it won't release on current gen hardware but revealed that his team is struggling to squeeze the game onto today's systems.

"I think we are still thinking about what we have to cut to fit on today's consoles, what we can improve. We really want to make the game perfect and as good as possible without cutting things. There is special gameplay that we really want to keep but it needs a certain power."

There has been very little said about the game since its reveal back in 2008 and, alas, Ancel wasn't forthcoming with much in the way of new information last week.

"I'd prefer you to see it when it is ready because it is something special to play," he politely replied to our demands for details.

However, he did outline why development has taken so long.

"After working on Rabbids, I then jumped into Beyond Good & Evil 2 for a long time. The development is advanced but we need more time to go further because with the hardware and the engine we have to improve it.

"So we took a little break and decided to make a 2D Rayman game because today's consoles are capable of really incredible 2D graphics and nobody has really used those abilities to display very HD pictures at 60FPS. In parallel with that, we continue with Beyond Good & Evil."

The original game – which saw a critically-acclaimed HD re-release earlier this year – while prevailing, was hardly a huge commercial success for the publisher first time round.

However, Ancel is convinced the IP's luster has grown in the years since, and that the sequel has a better chance of connecting with audiences.

"We put a lot of our time, our energy, our patience into that game. So we were disappointed by the results," said Ancel of the original.

"At the same time, today we've been asked more about this game than any other game that Ubisoft has done in the same period. So this game is the one that people are really focussing on today. So it encourages us to continue on Beyond Good & Evil 2."

Digital Foundry vs. E3: Nintendo

Last year, Nintendo big cheese Reggie Fils-Aime made a passionate speech to attending E3 delegates about the extraordinary appeal of Wii and revealed an excellent range of both first and third party games. As a statement of intent about the power of gameplay over graphics and the fact that Wii was market leader with much to offer, it was strong stuff.

This year, aside from a Skyward Sword showcase tied in beautifully with an orchestra-driven homage to the Legend of Zelda on its 25th anniversary, Wii was conspicuous by its absence, with journos left to delve into Nintendo's E3 press pack to figure out what - if anything - of note was planned in the coming year for the console that has sold a staggering 86 million units in its 4.5 year lifespan. Was the Wii being put out to pasture?

Undoubtedly, the page had been turned: at this event Fils-Aime had his eye on the future, specifically in shoring up the fortunes of the Nintendo 3DS, and in unveiling the brand new Wii U console - the company's first foray into the era of high definition gaming.

The reveal of the Wii U name was met with a sense of general bemusement, followed by confusion about what the product actually was - a state of affairs later acknowledged by Saturo Iwata. The focus of the messaging was on the joypad/touchscreen controller hybrid, to the point where much of the audience was unaware of the fact that a base unit sits in the same room, attached to the TV.

We saw games running on the touchscreen, we saw a curious "magnification" effect whereby pointing the pad at the screen allowed you to zoom in on details, we saw on-controller images being "pushed" to the screen, we saw interesting HDTV/controller hybrid games, and the touchscreen even being used as a sketchpad. What we didn't see was much of the actual console itself, a slightly bigger, more rounded, modern revamp of the existing Wii.

We didn't get much of a taste of the console's visual capabilities either. In the initial introductory video, the only real semblance of an HD video game was a concept demo for the Legend of Zelda. In his excellent Wii U preview, Oli Welsh says it like it is:
"It's undeniably beautiful, although you can attribute this in part to Nintendo's exquisitely hand-crafted art assets," Welsh observes.

"The lighting is excellent, with many changing sources and a few particle effects in evidence - but my untrained eyes saw nothing here that an Xbox 360 or PS3 couldn't do. Perhaps Digital Foundry will say different."

Or perhaps not. The Zelda demo, or "HD Experience" as Nintendo calls it, is almost certainly running at a native resolution of 720p, with no anti-aliasing and seems to be locked at 30 frames per second with v-sync engaged (subsequently verified with a good look at a 60Hz feed taken from G4's broadcast coverage of the event).

The lack of any kind of hardware AA, combined with the sheer amount of light sources might suggest that this is Nintendo's stab at producing a deferred lighting engine (particularly when factoring in the player-controlled time of day element), but on the other hand, the engineers may simply be showcasing the shading power of their new hardware.

As it is, much of the aliasing is obscured in a depth of field effect, with character shading being rather CG toon-like - similar to what Nintendo use on their Miis, but with better edge silhouette lighting to give it a kind of unearthly glow. The art style is certainly different to the run-of-the-mill Xbox 360 title, with a fast fall-off in lighting around an object: Link is bathed in shadow very quickly once he stops being directly lit.

It's a good demo, but as Oli says, it's very difficult to see this as anything other than affirmation that Nintendo's technical vision of the next generation is to effectively match the rendering performance of what's in the marketplace already. Once again, the platform holder is relying on ingenious controller-based concepts rather than cutting-edge tech.

The only other hint we received about the technical prowess of the Wii U came from the Japanese garden demo, which shows a bird taking flight, landing on a tree branch which blossoms into flower, before returning to the skies again, soaring over water, where the scenes shifts to a fish leaping out towards the camera.

The water effect is one of the most impressive elements of the demo. The surface looks similar to the tessellated fluid surfaces added to Unreal Engine 3 during the Gears of War 2 development work, with a pleasing 3D volume to the effect that's most especially noticeable when the fish is just above or below the water line.

User guide to Guitar Hero: Aerosmith PS3 game

Here we continue to introduce the classic PS3 games series which are available within 500G PS3 HDD  provided by fyygame.com;This time what we want to talk about is Guitar Hero: Aerosmith PS3 game

500G PS3 HDD

One of Activision's most successful franchises joins forces with one of rock's mosat enduring bands in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. The series, known for making gamers feel like rock stars, first put real rock stars into games with the inclusion of guitar gods Slash and Tom Morello as boss characters in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, but Guitar Hero: Aerosmith lets players follow the legendary Boston-based quintet's ascension from the tiny Nipmuc High School auditorium to center stage at the Super Bowl XXXV halftime show.

More of a healthy, Aerosmith-themed expansion of Guitar Hero III than a completely new entry in the series, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith nevertheless offers more than 40 new rock songs to which gamers can shred. The track list is heavy with Aerosmith classics like "Dream On," "Sweet Emotion," and "Rag Doll," but the game also features songs from groups that have influenced or toured with the band, including Mott the Hoople, New York Dolls, and The Black Crowes.

Gamers can begin as familiar characters from Guitar Hero III like Axel Steel and Midori, but eventually they'll be able to jam as guitarists Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton. New outfits become available as players progress through the six venues, and for the first time in the series, all five members of the group will be on stage at once. Lead singer Steven Tyler spent a month shooting motion capture video, while Perry, Hamilton, and Brad Whitford shred on dozens of real guitars from their personal collection, all of which can be unlocked.

Though Guitar Hero: Aerosmith features standard issue rhythm-based gameplay, the single-player difficulty level has attenuated, and gamers are only confronted by one boss battle. Co-op career mode has been removed, but gamers can still go head-to-head or unlock songs cooperatively in the regular career mode. The online modes from Guitar Hero III remain the same, but downloadable songs are not supported.

Gameplay:
Well it plays exactly as any other guitar hero game. 5 different colored note come scrolling down the screen and when it gets to a certain point you are to press and strum you're guitar to note shown. Not really a complicated concept. However quite difficult to master. Also those familiar with the GH3 Hammer-on and Pull offs(HOPO's) are stricter in this game than in GH3. The game features 6 tiers of songs to play, each location ties into Aerosmith history in a way. Each of the 6 tiers features 2 non-aerosmith songs followed by 3 Aerosmith songs
Then you move onto the next tier.of songs. Along each of the songs depending on how well you do you get money to unlock new guitars characters and the 11 bonus songs. While again really simple it does get the job done.

Graphics:
The graphics are pretty good in thins game. The band members look great and the Aerosmith characters look great and even do similar dances like do in real life. But other than that graphics don't really matter in a game like this.
Controller : easy usage (you may need to choose a high quality White DualShock 3 Wireless controller to increase your game experience in this Guitar Hero: Aerosmith PS3 game)

Final Thoughts:
If you have never played guitar hero but like Aerosmith i would recommend this game. If you do not like Aerosmith then stick with Guitar Hero III. Hardcore guitar hero fans may not like the fact that the charts in this game are a easier.
