Add Cheats to a Nintendo DS

The Nintendo Double Screen (DS) belongs to the seventh generation of home consoles as a hand-held device. Because of the DS's level of interactivity, a variety of entertaining games have been released for this system. If you wish to add cheats to your DS games to give yourself an edge while playing, you can use the NDS Action Replay to feed cheat codes into your DS. Then you can play game easy.

Installing Software and Drivers

1 Insert the Action Replay installation disc into your PC.

2 Follow the installation prompts that appear when you insert the disc to install the Action Replay program onto your PC.

3 Insert the DS game of your choice into the Action Replay device. Insert the Action Replay device into the DS game port on your DS.

4 Connect the Action Replay device to an available USB port on your PC with Action Replay's USB cable.

5 Wait for the PC to detect your Action Replay device and launch the install drivers wizard. Select the "Have Disk" option in this wizard, and select your installation disc in the browse window to install the proper drivers from your Action Replay disc.

Activating DS Codes

1 Turn your DS on, with the Action Replay device in the DS slot and your DS game in the Action Replay device.

2 Select the "Code Select" option, and choose which codes you want to use for your game from the list of available codes.

3 Push the "Start" button on your DS to begin your game.

Getting New DS Codes

1 Connect the Action Replay device to your PC via a USB cable.

2 Launch the Action Replay program by clicking the icon on your desktop.

3 Hit the "Update" button in the main menu, and wait as the latest Action Replay codes are downloaded from the website.
