Undead Nightmare spooks up Red Dead Redemption on Oct. 26

Just in time for Halloween, Rockstar Games has announced that the upcoming "Undead Nightmare" for Red Dead Redemption will be available to download for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 26. This is good for Halloween gift.

"Undead Nightmare" is primarily a single-player affair as a highly infectious zombie plague is spreading across the frontier and John Marston must find a cure. The DLC is a stand-alone game that is separate from the main storyline that can be launched from the main menu.

The zombified episode also adds some new weapons including a torch (good for lighting up a zombie) and a blunderbuss. Rockstar will announce More weapons leading up to the release of "Undead Nightmare". On top of the new weapons, it will also add three new outfits to unlock that have their own perks - Zombie Hunter, Union Suit and Legend of the Apocalypse.
