Beat the clones! Check if your PS3Key is genuine!

A number of people have contacted us to say that they've bought a PS3Key that doesn't have an Atmel chip inside it. These people are, quite rightly, worried that this will make it impossible to update their PS3Key.

To save you the trouble of removing the PCB from the metal casing to check whether or not your PS3Key is genuine, you can check your serial number through this website using our handy little Validation Tool. You can even register your serial number to your PS3Key account, locking it so that nobody can steal it from you, ensuring you have access to software downloads when they become available.

If your PS3Key did not come with a yellow barcode/serial number sticker, then please contact the place you bought it from immediately!
