As many of you already know, consoles are still being afflicted, with the loss of Blu-Ray playback, after downgrading. Chip makers and others, have claimed to have fixed the problem. However, there truly is no working fix at this time. A team of devs, called Project PS3 Blu ray hopes to alleviate the problem with your help.
They are asking anyone with a PS3 to run an app they have developed, which will dump certain files related to Blu-Ray playback. It does not matter if the Blu-Ray problem is affecting your console or not, your files are still needed for analysis and its good to keep your own backup on hand. Once analyzed, this should lead to a permanent Blu-Ray playback fix! For those that wish to help！
