I like how the average person can feel comfortable with the controls and the game in general after only a few multiplayer matches. The Zombies mode is a nice addition to a game that is already fully packed with hours of entertainment.

Black Ops is a nearly flawless game, but I still found some things that I didn’t like. The single-player campaign is a little on the short side. I know it sounds very greedy, and quality is better than quantity, but just give me more hours to immerse myself in the amazing storytelling. Then there is one thing that I felt was left out of multiplayer on purpose: the “Do more damage with your weapons” or “Stopping Power” perk, something I would always use in a non-hardcore match type. But in the end, I can nitpick little things about Black Ops, but there is really nothing major wrong with the game, other than the many hours you lose playing it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is a game that has amazing storytelling with exciting action that will go down in history. Multiplayer is absolutely fantastic, offering hours of entertainment and a new customization feature. There’s also a co-operative game mode that adds even more hours of gaming gold. The only problem is that there’s a good chance you’ll become addicted to it. What are you waiting for? Go out and purchase this game. In a couple of missions, you play as other main characters, but they’re significant to the memories of Alex Mason. A much-hyped multiplayer mode is also included. You receive COD points and experience based on how well you do in the match. COD points are the currency you use to purchase new weapons, items, equipment and so on. You get your standard deathmatches, territory controls and scenario maps. Each one has variants that are standard for a game in the Call of Duty series. There are various challenges that get in the way, such managing money you receive from killing zombies or repairing barriers, to getting better weapons and more ammo, or opening a new area of the map to get better items. Reviving injured fellow players who are overrun by zombies and others beasts is another challenge thrown into the mix.

I don’t know where to start to describe what I love about Black Ops. The single-player campaign takes what I thought could be experienced through storytelling in video games and launches it out the window. The fact that you basically follow one individual, Alex Mason, offers a tremendous opportunity to feel connected to the story. Then, on top of that, you add the exciting, heart-pounding moments that Call of Duty games provide, and you get an unforgettable gaming experience.

He’s told that he is the only one who can help. Mason is dumbfounded by what the interrogator is asking him. He is forced to relive memories of a time long ago, when he was in black operations. The story then unfolds into something much deeper.

Each mission in the Black Ops single-player campaign is a memory that Mason must relive to figure out what the numbers mean. The memories are sometimes intertwined with historical events and sometimes not.

Hackers take Microsoft’s Kinect into unexplored territory

For years the powerhouses of the IT industry have been battling against the so-called “abuse” of their endeavors, but have we reached a turning point?

Microsoft recently released their Kinect for the Xbox. The Kinect brings an entire new experience to gaming, allowing the users to free themselves of controls – totally. Using gestures alone, entire games can be played with full functionality, the game even recognises expressions of frustration and adjusts the level of difficulty accordingly.

Pretty fancy stuff, but as usual the thousands of hackers out there have seen previously unimagined uses for this new release, and have achieved some pretty interesting results already.

At first, Microsoft abhorred these hackers, but then suddenly did a turnaround, releasing this statement: “Kinect was not actually hacked. Hacking would mean that someone got to our algorithms that sit inside of the Xbox and was able to actually use them. Which hasn’t happened. Or, it means that you put a device between the sensor and the Xbox for means of cheating, which also has not happened. That’s what we call hacking, and that’s what we put a ton of work and effort in to make sure doesn’t actually occur.”

The statement goes on to say that “What has happened is someone wrote an open source driver for PCs, which essentially opens the USB connection, which we didn’t protect by design, and reads the inputs from the sensor.”

Looks like someone is chasing their tail. Could this be an admission that everything is not under control, and acknowledging a not so subtle victory for freedom of innovation?

Either way, this opened the floodgates for everyone and anyone to try their luck with the Xbox Kinect.

The Xbox 360's online service, Xbox LIVE Gold, is to fling open its doors to all-comers over the Thanksgiving weekend, from November 25 to November 29.

That means Xbox 360 owners who haven't subscribed to the premium scheme will be able to access music videos, voice chat, Facebook functions and online multiplayer for their games.

North American users can also see how Xbox LIVE Gold links up with ESPN and Netflix , while in the UK and Ireland there is a chance to try out Sky TV's Sky Player on the console.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is also in on the action, with double the usual amount of experience points available to players who get involved over the holiday break.

Nintendo's online service is free of charge for Wii and DS users, as is Sony's basic plan for the PlayStation 3 and PSP.

Sony: Library of 50 3D Games in Development for the PlayStation 3

Sony is serious about three-dimensional gaming, with a library of more than 50 3D titles in development for the PlayStation 3, including 20 of its own making. And if a studio is looking to jump on the 3D bandwagon, Sony is ready to lend a helping hand with training for external developers.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe studio director Mick Hocking provided the details of Sony's 3D ambitions to Develop ahead of his 3D Gaming keynote speech at this week's Develop in Liverpool conference.

"Overall we have more than 50 titles currently being converted into 3D, and this number if growing fast," Hocking told Develop. "Some of them are massive names. That's a really, really good sign that the industry is behind our unique message that 3D is a key element in the future of home consoles."

Sony is working to position itself as the leader in 3D gaming, Hocking said, not only reaching out to help developers add stereoscopic 3D to their games, but also trying to help them take the technology in new directions for gaming.

"Not only make it technically correct, but also to be more inventive with it, how to get the most creatively from it for their particular type of game. One great example is in Killzone 3, when you're playing in 3D, where the player has to plant an explosive charge on the wall. When they do, the charge comes out of the screen and looks like it's in the room with you, and honestly it feels like an explosive charge has been placed on your TV. It's amazing."

Sony added 3D gaming and Blu-ray functionality to the PlayStation 3 earlier this year with a pair of title updates. The Japanese tech giant hopes its 3D gaming efforts will also help it move its range of 3D TVs and accessories.

Sony UK boss: GT5 will "take your breath away"

With the launch of Polyphony Digital’s hotly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 imminent, Sony Computer Entertainment UK boss Ray Maguire wants to make one thing abundantly clear – prepare to have your breath taken away when you first clap eyes on the game.

Chatting with the folks at Eurogamer, Maguire acknowledged that the gaming landscape has changed substantially over the last couple of years, though firmly believes punters are still interested in the venerable racing franchise.

"I was thinking, well, the world has moved on a little bit, social gaming has emerged, people are accepting smaller, bite-sized bits of gaming at very low value," he said, during a chinwag with Eurogamer.

"Then I saw it, I saw the detail of it, and it does take your breath away. You go, 'Oh my God, now I understand it.'"

Keeping the hype train chugging along the tracks, the executive went on to highlight how significant the brand proved during the days of the PlayStation 2, and heaped praise on series creator Kazunori Yamauchi’s continued passion and drive for the series.

"Clearly one of the games which was very important for PS2 was Gran Turismo," he added. "It took the machine to the limits, and it continued to do that all the way through to the last iteration.”

"What's interesting is that there's been nothing until now on GT. That's because the hardware that we have now allows for so much more freedom. The passion and the drive for excellence that Kazunori has is taking him all the way through to try and push the technology we have now."

Gran Turismo 5 scores 87 on Metacritic

The first international reviews have been published for Gran Turismo 5 and subsequently collated on popular review-aggregation site Metacritic. At the time of writing, Gran Turismo 5 sits on an average score of "87" based on 13 reviews.

Of course, expectations are particularly high for this PlayStation-3-exclusive racer, owing to its rather protracted development cycle and multiple delays since its first announcement at E3 2005.

While a score of 87 is by no means a bad score in our books, a Metacritic score of 87 can sometimes mean bad news for a purported blockbuster game title. Many publishers have made no secret that a 90-plus score on Metacritic is often a core objective and, rightly or wrongly, many also consider a Metacritic score below 90 to be somewhat of a failure. Edge magazine even goes as far as to suggest that bonuses for developers and publishers are often tied to the game's Metacritic rating.

It's worth pointing out that, being an average, a Metacritic rating can be skewed by extreme review scores on either end of the scale. Currently, Gran Turismo 5's Metacritic rating is punctuated by two 100s, a 70 and with nine reviews placing it between the range of 90 and 80.

With Sony recently releasing the Playstation 3 firmware version 3.50 sneakily via the mandatory installation of Medal of Honor, many PS3 owners were caught unprotected and it also apparently was the reason behind the latest (and hopefully final) delay of the release of Gran Turismo 5.

Today PS Jailbreak has announced downgrade support for 3.42, 3.50 "and beyond" firmware. Now we know this is becoming a matter of confusion since Sony doesn't name their updates like Android does. It would in fact make it less exhausting installing them.

The bottom line however is that while this PS3 Jailbreak support won't let you play 3.42 or 3.50 games, it will allow you to downgrade your console's firware to a more hackbable stage.

PS Jailbreak: Downgrade Support For 3.42 and 3.50 Released

The jailbreaking wars seemingly never end, and it’s not about to either as PS Jailbreak have just announced downgrade support for PS3 firmware versions 3.42 and 3.50, allowing you to play PlayStation 3 games specifically for previous versions.

How to Troubleshoot a PS3 Controller

PS3 Dualshock 3 wireless controllers use Bluetooth technology to connect to the system. Sometimes, these controllers fail to work properly, or will not turn on at all. You may not need to buy a new controller if yours isn't functioning properly -- there are a few things you can do at home to troubleshoot your PS3 controller.

1 Charge your controller if it is not responding. Plug the controller into the PS3 via a USB cable. The PS3 must be on while the controller is plugged in for it to charge.

2 Reset the controller when it is charged. There is a reset button in a very small hole on the back of the controller. You will need a thin object, such as a pin or a straightened paperclip, to get inside the hole and press the reset button.

3 Sync the controller after you've reset it. Plug your controller in with the USB cable, and press the "PS" button to sync it.

4 Plug in the controller with the system off if the system still does not recognize the controller. Power the system off and plug the controller in via the USB cable, and then power the system back on. As the system is booting up, it may recognize the controller as a device.

5 Do a hard reset of the system if all else fails. Turn off the PS3 using the switch on the back of the unit. Turn it back on, and then hold down the power button on the front of the console for several seconds. When you hear three beeps, the system has reset.

6 Plug your controller in and press the "PS" button to sync it once the system has reset. If the system still doesn't recognize the controller, you may need a new one.

God of War dev: PSP was “doomed from the start”

Ready At Dawn may have made a nice little name for itself developing God of War games on the PSP, but that doesn't mean the studio is a big supporter of the device. In fact, co-founder Ru Weerasuriya believe the thing was dead on its feet from the outset.

"It was the first portable that Sony released -- it's a trial by fire," he claims. "It's a good platform and you can make amazing things on it. I think that we've tried as much as possible to prove that in the last seven years. But it was doomed from the beginning, that's its biggest problem.

"It was doomed from the very get-go. There are some things which aren't conductive to calling it a true portable gaming platform and calling it a connective platform, although it has wi-fi. There's so many things that publishers and the manufacturer and Sony dropped the ball on -- it's natural, it's the first one."

Technically, "it's the first one" isn't an excuse when it's half a decade old and has has been remade three times. Still, its longevity is an important issues, as is its sixty million worldwide sales. As a product, it hasn't necessarily done too badly. Rumor: Supports ‘All Future Firmware’, PS Downgrade Announced

A universal downgrade solution for PS3 units may soon be nigh. A team claiming to be behind the initial PSJailbreak hack have unveiled a software add-on dubbed PS Downgrade that allows users to PS downgrade regardless of which firmware is currently installed, including 3.42 and 3.50. Specifically, the website touts compatibility with “all past, current and future firmwares.”

Not surprisingly, the site also claims PS Downgrade “is ONLY compatible with original PS Jailbreak, no clones or inferior USB dongles.” We’ll see what the hacking community has to say about that.

1 Blow on the disk to remove excess dust. Gently brush off any stubborn dust from the disk with a clean, dry paintbrush.

2 Use a clean eyeglass-polishing cloth to polish the disk in a vertical motion. Wipe from the inside of the disk to the outside -- do not polish the disk in a circular motion.

3 Apply a small amount of glass cleaner to the polishing cloth. Again, polish in a vertical motion, moving from the inside to the outside of the disk. Let the disk dry.

4 Place a very small amount of Carnauba car wax on the polishing cloth. Polish the disk in the same vertical, outward motion. The car wax will fill in any small scratches.

Apple iPad 2: Expect it by April, analyst says

An "Apple iPad 2" will hit store shelves as soon as the spring of 2011 – and this rejiggered iPad could ship with two digital cameras, allowing users access to the same FaceTime technology available on the Apple iPhone 4. That's the gossip being floated this week by Brian Marshall, an analyst with the firm Gleacher and Company, who sources his report in part to hardware manufacturers in Asia.

"I think April is the proper time-frame for an iPad 2," Marshall told Computerworld. "Since I'm projecting that Apple will release a CDMA iPhone in March, both will help to equalize Apple's seasonality." Marshall says that the iPad 2 won't get a sweeping redesign, but it will certainly get front- and rear-facing cameras. "It will be the same form factor, but with dual-camera functionality," he said.

Obviously Apple has plenty of incentive to update its iPad line. Since the unveiling of the original iPad, way back in January – man, does time ever move fast in the tech world – scores of companies have revealed specs on their own tablet devices. "Singstar Dance" blends the series' traditional karaoke play with Move-controlled choreography. The singing is fun, and the song selection is the usual blend of pop and hip-hop in which anyone can find something agreeable. But trying to sing an unfamiliar tune while following the choreography cues requires the eyes of a chameleon. The difficulty of doing so is even screened for the player by post-song PlayStation Eye-recorded video of, in all likelihood, a very confused-looking performer.

Self-consciousness also abounds in "Start the Party," a collection of super-short minigames. With the Eye footage taking center stage, the Move takes the form of a fan to direct falling birds into nests, a trimmer to give haircuts, or, of course, a mallet to whack moles. Each of the dozen or so games is mostly amusing and easy to learn except for one, in which the player must fan parachuting toy soldiers into boats. Hopefully this obtuse game doesn't pop up in the exciting survivor mode, where various minigames blitz the player in rapid succession and they must perform well enough to keep the clock ticking.

Finally, "EyePet" is less a game and more of a virtual pet. Players can dress and stylize the creature - best described as an anime character-looking monkey dog - to their liking, then play with them by waving the Move in the air to coax jumps. Feeding the EyePet, using it as a bowling ball, taking pictures together and more make up the wide range of activities, which will certainly entertain children more than adults.

"The Shoot" presents the on-rails light gun-esque game play that has proven successful on the Wii in titles like "Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles" and "Metroid Prime 3." Players can stroll through western saloons, an alien invasion and more Hollywood sets, taking down cardboard cutouts and avoiding civilians. The game goes beyond the light gun dynamic by requiring sideways turns of the Move to dodge incoming projectiles, and even spinning in a 360 to trigger a powerful attack. "The Shoot" is best played with the Move's red gun case, a no-frills peripheral that, unlike the Wii Zapper, actually looks like a gun.

From there, the Move's initial software lineup goes slightly downhill - literally so in "Kung Fu Rider." This wacky motion-controlled time trial race game sits a character on an office chair or warehouse cart for a ride down streets riddled with obstacles. Waving the Move up and down speeds up the racer, but this motion can instead easily register a momentum-killing jump, which is triggered with an upward flick. The general lack of finesse in controlling the racer - executing grinds is nigh impossible - trips up this Move launch title considerably.

"Sports Champions," Sony’s analogue to "Wii Sports," is by far the best of the Move launch lineup.

Dueling, beach volleyball, table tennis and more make up the game. Nothing quite tops the elegance and addictiveness of Wii bowling, but unlike "Wii Sports" or "Resort," every "Champions" game will beg your attention.

Disc golf has better courses and more nuanced technique than its "Resort" counterpart, archery demands such precision that your arms will feel like they’ve been pulling a real bow, and bocce rivals Wii bowling for accessibility paired with depth. Every game can be learned in less than five minutes, but challenge tiers and local and online multiplayer will tempt anyone to spend much longer with "Sports Champions."

My time with "The Fight: Lights Out" was easily the sweatiest I’ve ever gotten with a video game. This bare-knuckle boxing title is best played with one Move in each hand. The controller’s sensing power is crucial to the game, as nothing less than your snappiest punches will win a fight. Players can bet on matches, customize their pugilist’s abilities and appearance, and heal injuries before taking to the alleyways for the next punch-up.

Play Donkey Kong Country Returns before release

Kinect owned a million selling

Microsoft’s revealed its sold 1 million Kinects since the device launched earlier this month, meaning it’s well on track to reach 5 million units by the end of the year.

“It’s a strong start,” said Don Mattrick, head of Microsoft’s game unit, in a telephone interview on Monday. “Consumers are loving it.”

The Kinect is priced at $150 (£130) for a standalone unit and $300 (£250) bundled with a 4 gigabyte Xbox console.

It went on sale in U.S. stores Nov. 4 and Nov 10 in the UK and Europe.

The camera has been in and out of stock at stores like GAME and is currently only available online when bought with the console. You can still get Kinect in store, so if you are interested we suggest you get hold of it before the Xmas rush.

PSN Blocked and Users Asked To Update

Well the day has come, Sony has didn't bring a wave of bans, but they did block 3.41 firmware from going on PSN. News arrives to us from PSX-Scene reporting users no longer being able to access PSN on 3.41. Instead being prompted to update their consoles.

So far 2 people have reported to me (AUS / EUR) that they are being asked to update to get on PSN now. I have confirmation this is now blocked in Canada and the USA as well. Time to look for a new way to get online. *Glad i bought up all that DLC now*. Actually, based on the many posts, this is affecting people world wide, every region.

Additional news is starting to trickle in. Users on a legit 3.50 firmware are able to sign into PSN without any issues, it seems to only be affecting the jailbroken consoles so it looks like this may have been patched. Please keep checking this main post as i will try and update it with as much info as i get.

It does look like there is scheduled maintenance going on in some world regions but that does not account for why people in NA are getting errors. I figure i will post this as well so we have all the info possible. Before we totally freak out, lets also assume this MAY be related to maintenance.

The PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from 16:05 on Thursday 18 November 2010 until 01:00 on Friday 19 November 2010, GMT. This is for Europe however it also generally means there will be downtime for the US as well, we expect the official US announcement later today.

During the maintenance, you will be unable to access the following services:

* PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP.
* PlayStation Network Account Management.
* PlayStation Network Account Registration.

But I am glad to say that the controller is the exact size and weight of the regular Wii controller and the motion plus works perfectly fine and just as accurate as the regular Wii controller.



Many of my problems when buying third party controllers is that the controller feels cheap, the plastic feels like it could break at any moment, the buttons don’t press down right, the buttons hurt your thumbs. Snakebyte does not have any of these problems. The only real difference is the feel of the back of the controller as is not smooth giving you more grip, the D-pad’s ends are a little raised, and the power, home, plus, and minus buttons are made of rubber (which feels just as good if not better than the first-party Wii remote).

The problems that the controller does seem to have are with the speaker and vibration features. Both of these features work, but are not up to par with the first-party controller. The vibration works fine but is louder and clunkier than the first-party Wii controller. The speaker seems to give off some static occasionally but most of the time it seems to work fine.

Final Word: With all of these great features and for a cheaper price than the first party Wii remote, I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking into buying the first-party Wii remote with motionplus built-in. You get more for the price and practically just as high quality as the first party Wii remote.

All of this is for a low price of $35, five dollars cheaper than the first party motionplus built-in Wii controller. I have had bad experiences with third-party controllers before and with the Wii there are a lot of features that can be done wrong, but from what I can tell Snakebyte does a good job at emulating the Wii controller and gives it some much needed upgrades that Nintendo has yet to give.

When I first bought my Wii I was disappointed to learn that the controller was not rechargeable and would need to swap out batteries after they died. The Snakebyte controller comes bundled with rechargeable batteries and all you have to do is unscrew the back with the bundled screwdriver and then recharge the controller after putting the batteries in.

Unfortunately though you are not able to charge the batteries through the USB cable that comes packaged with the controller and play at the same time. Not being able to play and recharge isn’t great but it is better than the regular Wii remote not coming with rechargeable batteries, which really makes you feel like you are getting more for less than if you were to buy a first-party Wii motionplus controller.

The motionplus being inside the controller is something that everyone has wanted and is a very important feature in this controller. If the controller was bigger than the Wii remote, weighed more, or the motionplus didn’t work properly then this controller would not be worth it.

PS Move will be more attractive to gamers than Kinect

M2 Research senior analyst Billy Pidgeon, aside from having an awesome name, has an opinion on the current state of waggle controllers and "hardcore" gamers. According to him (and possibly Captain Obvious), traditional gamers find the PlayStation Move a far more attractive concept than Microsoft's Kinect. Maybe it's because the PS Move, I dunno, has been marketed to gamers, and not to Justin Bieber fans.

"Both Kinect and Move validate Nintendo's Wii strategy," he says. "Move is currently more of an attraction for gaming enthusiasts, primarily because PS3 is still selling into the base, and Sony is right to position Move as precise motion control for the hardcore.

"Now through 2011, Kinect poses a real threat to Nintendo Wii. Wii is still selling and will likely sell more strongly than it has recently in late Q4. Still, Nintendo's console has reached a saturation point. A price cut for the Wii timed for Black Friday blow outs would allow for some consolidation against Microsoft's Kinect strategy."

I'll admit that, as a technology enthusiast, Kinect has interested me a lot more now that it's released and people have gotten to grips with its neat little features. As a gamer, however, I'm still waiting for something to make me care. Especially since I bought a PS Move and all I ever use it for is playing Deadstorm Pirates. Seriously, I don't need another motion controller that I'm barely gonna use cluttering up the place.

Fyygame review: Sony PS Move motion controller part3

The layout feels very comfortable to use and Sony has done itself a favour by making the controller slender and robust enough to take a few whacks by frustrated players throwing it across the room. I was also pleased that my kids only suffered shattered egos rather than skulls when beating each other up in the gladiator duels in Sports Champions. Without enough space to move, both boys spent more time actually hitting each other with the spongy ball rather than landing virtual blows.

But that all important game play mechanic with the controllers is, unequivocally, fantastic. Sports Champions lacks the cutesy charm of Nintendo's Wii Sports but we'd rather play its table tennis game than anything the Wii has to offer. The PS Move adds so much depth and control that the gameplay of table tennis opens up. You can orchestrate smashes on Wii tennis with a dainty flick but the PS Move asks its players to actually perform a smash. Ditto for lobs backhands, slices and topspins. The 360 degree representation of the bat meant we got full control over gameplay, giving some games richer depth than we expected.

Start the Party is a cheap and dirty post pub five minute knee trembler. We enjoyed it thoroughly at the time but you might regret it in the morning. You are not asked to think beyond following the mighty Bruce Campbell's instructions to whack, stab or swat something on screen. It is an old PS2 idea with the camera displaying our mug on screen in a virtual world and picking up our controller movement. The idea is enhanced by the PS Move and it proved to be my kids' favourite.

Eye-Pet is also a revamped older title but has been given the Move makeover. Calibration was awful. Sports Champions has a much more complicated calibration process because the games asked a lot more of the PS Move but it worked every time. Ditto for Start the Party, which only required us to point the controller at the camera once and press the PS Move button. But Eye-Pet's calibration hardly worked even though it should've been relatively plain sailing.

Kung Fu Riders is a terrible launch title with a one trick pony idea extended to an entire game. Performing Kung Fu moves on a chair while getting points for style moves is a neat idea badly executed and the game should never have seen the light of day. Even my normally forgiving kids didn't rate this one well.

We did run out of battery life which meant trying to use the PS Move with the controller disconnected - not recommended. Because the camera picks up so much depth of field in some games like table tennis on Sports Champions, you need a lot of room to move. As most games support up to four players, it left us wishing the PS3 had more than two USB ports to recharge controllers. The PS3 move Eye camera connects to one port, which leaves just one USB port available for recharging.



In fact, we also stuck to Sony's rigid set up instructions to make sure the game play experience was optimised for the PS Move. Like Kinect, Sony's control system requires a large, clean and tidy room that's well-lit. We also had a real problem calibrating the controllers for this game, which seemed to be more chance than anything else.

The PS Move controller is, on paper and in hand, a great piece of technology. The big ball at the end lights up to provide a point of reference that the camera can track. That's not just very tight tracking left, right, up and down, but tracking backwards and forwards as well. The controllers automatically assign a different light when another is connected for each player but there are many colour changes that are used for different functions in different games to add to the gameplay experience.

The ball can also be converted using Sony's tech voodoo to anything you can hold in your hand. In this review and with the help of my boys, we held a sword, bat, torch, axe, Frisbee, swatter, hammer, fan, hair shaver, bow and pencil to name but a few. All were rendered with Sony's superior graphics engine, increasing in size the nearer we moved to the camera and decreasing as we moved away. But it was the lag free playing that held our attention. Try as we might, spinning the controllers in our hands, we couldn't catch the PS Move out so there's not even a millisecond of lag to report.

Aside from the glowing orb, the controller has a huge PS Move button in the middle, a trigger button for your right finger and Sony's traditional square, triangle, circle and cross buttons around the large Move button. There's also a small select and start button on the left and right hand side. The main buttons sat naturally underneath our fingers and most of the simpler games like Start the Party didn't use any other buttons.
